Common Eligibility Requirements
- Candidates with results at a foreign examination held outside Sri Lanka, deemed equivalent to G.C.E (Advanced Level) Examination of Sri Lanka or qualifications required for admission to a university in an applicant’s own country to follow an undergraduate course of study leading to a Bachelor’s Degree.
- All Sri Lankan candidates should have studied abroad for a period of not less than three academic years immediately prior to sitting the qualifying examination.
- A candidate should be between 17-30 years of age by the closing date of applications for degree programmes except the MBBS degree programme. Age limit for MBBS degree programme is 17-25 years of age by the closing date of applications. Candidate who have completed another related degree qualification are eligible to apply for the MBBS degree programme if the age is not more than 27 years at the closing date of applications
