Dr. Ashwin Govindarajan, Neurologist and Mr. Jesuran, Director, International Patient Care of Rela Hospital, met the Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka in Chennai, Dr. Ganesanathan Geathiswaran, on 17 June 2026. During the visit, Dr. Ashwin Govindarajan conducted a Neurological Emergency Preparedness Awareness Session for the staff members of the Deputy High Commission. The session focused on enhancing awareness of common neurological emergencies, including stroke and emphasized the importance of early recognition, timely intervention, and appropriate emergency response procedures. The Deputy High Commissioner expressed his appreciation to Dr. Ashwin Govindarajan and Mr. Jesuran for their initiative in conducting the awareness programme, which contributed to strengthening the staff’s knowledge and preparedness in handling medical emergencies.
